According to sources close to the musician, the companies that have had him endorse their products are already on the edge over the issue.
It was learnt that this was one of the issues Davido brought up when he appeared before operatives of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons on Wednesday.

Reports from sources close to popular musician, David Adeleke, said the Awon Fans Mi crooner has expressed his readiness to amicably settle the face-off with his baby mama, Sophia.

It was gathered that Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, is concerned about the effect the negative publicity being generated by the clash was having on his endorsement.
According to sources close to the musician, the companies that have had him endorse their products are already on the edge over the issue.

It was learnt that this was one of the issues Davido brought up when he appeared before operatives of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons on Wednesday.

Davido, at the meeting at the NAPTIP office in Ikeja, Lagos State, said he was willing to concede to Sophia, a cousin of veteran journalist, Dele Momodu, all she wanted to save his endorsement deals.

Davido has a N30 million endorsement with telecoms giant, MTN, and another with Guinness Nigeria Plc, which cost is not known.
Sources close to him said he was considering making available to Sophia the Mercedes Benz Jeep and N1 million monthly upkeep allowance she requested for.

Davido said he was perturbed by the negative publicity the issue had generated, adding that he remains someone who cherishes his privacy apart from when he is on stage.
NAPTIP is expected to take a final decision on the way forward next week after Davido’s sister must have appeared before its operatives.

Davido’s sister has always been the one fronting as the mother of the relationship between the musician and Sophia, Imade, who was the source of the conflict.

NAPTIP may head to the court over the issue if both parties do not settle the issue amicably.
