Sen. Bruce queries increase in price of kerosene

Bruce, the representative of Bayelsa East Senatorial District, reacting to the announcement on his Twitter handle, said he was at a loss as to the calculation used in the new template.

Senator Ben Bruce on Monday questioned the increase in the price of kerosene by the Federal Government.
Bruce said he was at a loss as to the criteria used by the Federal Government in arriving at the new price of kerosene.
The Federal Government had on Sunday announced an increment in the price of kerosene from N50 to N83.
The Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency announced the price increase.
Bruce, the representative of Bayelsa East Senatorial District, reacting to the announcement on his Twitter handle, said he was at a loss as to the calculation used in the new template.
He tweeted: “Kerosene is made from crude.
“Two years ago, crude was $130 and kerosene was ₦50.

“By what mathematics can kerosene be ₦83 now that crude is $28?
